Responsibilities include generating sales; interacting with customers in a professional manner; organizing store inventory, merchandising windows, mannequins and store displays; maintaining an attractive store appearance, including cleaning the store as necessary; opening and closing the store; assisting management with overseeing and managing the store; and operating a POS system.
Applicants should be punctual, be able to work independently and be proactive in their work, habits, be out-going, personable, flexible and have a good attitude, be fashion-oriented and have a good sense of style, dress appropriately for a fashion forward boutique, be articulate and comfortable working with the public, be flexible, be comfortable handling responsibility and be accountable for your work, and be comfortable with operating a POS system (will train).
Compensation: $11 per hour firm with sales incentives and employee discount offered.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP
teddy is seeking a resourceful and creative intern with good writing skills who is passionate about fashion and who can contribute to our social media marketing campaigns to help our online presence expand rapidly! The candidate we seek should be comfortable with Facebook and Twitter and have an interest and working knowledge of fashion blogs. Knowledge of Tumblr, Wordpress, Polyvore, Pinterest, etc. is a plus. We want a candidate who wants to work in a fun, collaborative environment where results matter and your opinion will be counted on. Do you want to see a growing company in action and be a part of it?

Responsibilities include facilitating and upkeep of social media initiatives to create buzz, attract attention and new customers, participate in marketing strategy meetings and contribute to marketing initiatives to integrate our social media campaign with our home page, lookbooks, print and online media advertising campaigns, write copy for PR initiatives and blogs, upkeep customer email database and facilitate e-mailer campaigns.
Qualifications include an interest in fashion!, competency in social media platforms and knowledge of blogging platforms, good communications skills, an eye for detail who can work quickly, a willingness to work in team environment but comfortable working individually, familiarity with both Mac and PC computers and well organized, self-disciplined, professional and able to juggle multiple projects. Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop is preferred, but not required.
