Return Policy

teddy wants you to be delighted with your purchase.  If you are not completely satisfied, you may return any full-priced merchandise for an exchange or a full refund, subject to the Return Requirements below.

RETURN REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible, the item must be postmarked or presented to a sales associate for store returns within 14 days of original receipt.  The merchandise must not have been washed, worn or altered, and must have its original tags intact.  A completed return form or original receipt must be presented at the time of return.  All sale merchandise is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.  For purchases made at one of our store locations, please see our Store Returns Procedures below.  Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment for online purchases only.  Shipping costs are non-refundable.

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange your item for another size, color or item, please follow the Return Procedures below.  In order to ensure that we still have the item for exchange in stock, either (i) email us at returns@shopteddy.com to request that we hold the item for you or (ii) go ahead and purchase it online and make a note on your return form indicating your new order number.  We will ship the item for exchange to you at our expense.  In case merchandise is no longer available for exchange, you will be issued a refund.

RETURN PROCEDURES (for internet purchases)

Should you wish to return any merchandise for refund or exchange, simply follow these instructions:

1.     Please completely fill out the return form included in your order and enclose it with the item you are returning.  Be sure to indicate if you would prefer to receive a refund, or make an exchange for another size, color or item.  Please note that without a completed return form, we will not be able to process your return.

2.     Securely repackage your merchandise in the original package or box in which you received your order, if possible.

3.     Please send your package via a pre-paid, insured, traceable method and affix the return label to the package and be sure to cover or remove any original mailing address label or carrier barcodes from the package.  Please return to the following address:

Packages that arrive via C.O.D. will be denied.  We are not responsible for missing packages.  Please note that teddy retail store purchases should not be sent to this location and cannot be returned or exchanged at this location.

4.     We recommend that you use UPS to return your package.  You can drop off the package at your nearest UPS authorized shipping location or give the package to a UPS driver.  For your protection, be sure to retain for your records the tracking number for your package.  Check UPS.com to locate your nearest drop off location.  Please allow at least five (5) days for transit time.

5.     You will receive an email once your return has been received and processed.  If you have chosen to receive a refund, we will refund your credit card for the purchase price of the merchandise minus shipping costs within five (5) business days.  We do not refund original or return shipping costs, except due to our shipping error.  Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account. 

 We reserve the right to deny a refund if the merchandise returned does not meet our Return Requirements.

 Please note that teddy stores do not accept returns or exchanges for website orders at this time.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

The customer is responsible for all customs duties or taxes. If you return or refuse an item or refuse an item, and we are charged a duty or tax for any reason, this amount will be deducted from your eligible refund.

STORE RETURNS PROCEDURES

All purchases made at a retail teddy store location may be only returned for a store credit or exchange, subject to the Return Requirements listed above.  teddy will not issue refunds for returned merchandise at our stores for any reason.  Please present the merchandise for credit or exchange to a sales associate at your nearest teddy store with the item’s original receipt.  All store credits are good for one (1) year from the date of return.

GIFT RECEIPTS

Items originally purchased as gifts may only be returned for an exchange or store credit within the time period printed on the Gift Receipt and subject to the Return Requirements listed above.  Items for return must be accompanied by an original gift receipt.  All store credits are good for one (1) year from the date of return.  Refunds are not available for items returned by gift receipt.
